The Mighty Matter-Horn

I feel that an explanation is in order; so I was just flicking through my emails, and this guy inquired as to whether I could draw things OTHER than ponies, so I asked, "what do you have in mind then?" and long story short, he challenged me to draw this. So I guess this is a commission then.

So the question is: Did I do good? You tell me, comments, critique, all would be much appreciated. And hey, if this gets enough attention then perhaps I might do more, only time will tell....
